Excellent Thermal Insulation

Excellent Thermal Insulation

Since they are installed on the exterior, external Venetian blinds prevent glass surfaces from heating up by blocking the sun before it even reaches the windows. This means that sunlight does not enter the room at all (unless you choose to adjust the blinds accordingly). As a result, they serve as an excellent thermal insulator, maintaining the perfect indoor temperature.

Easy Light Control

Easy Light Control

With just a few turns, you can easily adjust the angle of the blinds and regulate the amount of light entering the room. When the sun is at its strongest or shines directly inside, you can fully close the blinds to block out excess brightness. Conversely, when you're enjoying the last rays of the day, you can simply open them completely.

More Interior Space

More Interior Space

Since Venetian blinds are mounted on the outside of the windows, they do not take up any space inside. This is particularly beneficial in small rooms, where every bit of space counts. Additionally, you don’t have to worry about them interfering with your interior design, as they remain neatly positioned outside—out of sight from both you and your guests.

Superior Privacy Protection

Superior Privacy Protection

When the blinds are fully closed, the exterior of the window is completely covered, ensuring that passersby and neighbors cannot peek inside. By adjusting the slat angle, you can achieve the perfect level of privacy without compromising natural light.

Unobstructed View of the Outdoors

Since the blinds are installed externally, they do not obstruct your view from the inside, allowing you to enjoy an open and clear perspective of your surroundings.

High-Quality and Durable Materials

We have prepared answers to key questions for you.

When choosing external blinds, it is important to consider several factors.

  • Type of construction:

In new buildings, the flush-mounted version of blinds is often used, where the cabinet is hidden under the facade. However, the latest trends also allow the integration of blind guides directly under the facade, creating an invisible blind system, known as Invisa blinds. For flush-mounted installation of blinds, the Modul blind system with full guides is also available, which is mounted once on the outside of the window. In the case of an already completed facade, it is possible to install blinds with visible cabinets that match the appearance of the building in color.

  • Slat shapes:

External blinds have different slat shapes, such as C, T, Z and S shapes. Each slat shape has its own advantages and aesthetic properties. C and T slats are adjustable up to an angle of 180 degrees, while S and Z-slats have a seal at the end of the slat, which allows for better darkening and sealing. All four slat shapes can be integrated into any blind system.

  • Irregular blinds:

When choosing external blinds, it is also important to consider irregular blinds, which are designed specifically for irregularly shaped windows. These blinds provide effective shading and sun protection even on irregularly shaped windows.

By following these steps, you will be able to choose the right blinds for your windows that are functional and tailored to your needs.

  • The construction method is an important aspect when choosing blinds.

In new buildings, flush-mounted blinds are often used, which are installed under the facade and allow for clean lines and seamless integration. For existing buildings, however, visible system solutions are available, where the blind box is attached to the window frame. A visible mask can be used to aesthetically cover the box, while in the case of flush-mounted blinds, a flush-mounted mask is used.

  • Color adjustments:

Consider choosing the color of the blinds that best matches the style of your space. In addition to the color, the shape of the blind slats is also important for harmonizing with the style of the building. Slat shapes such as C, T or S, Z have their own specifics and aesthetic impact on the overall appearance (for more information on the shape of the slats, read question 1.)

  • Blind control method:

When choosing blinds, it is also crucial to consider the control method that suits your needs. There are various options, such as manual control, electronic control with a switch or remote control. For those looking for more advanced solutions, an upgrade with a mobile application is also available.

  • Measurements and professional advice:

When choosing blinds, it is recommended to seek professional advice and take accurate measurements. The expert will provide you with appropriate advice on choosing blinds according to your needs and technical requirements.

Venetian blinds:

  • Made of aluminum slats that allow control over light regulation.

  • An excellent solution for external shading, as the aluminum movable slats allow for adjustment of the angle.

  • They provide insulation and protect the window from excessive heating.

  • Currently the most popular choice of shading in new buildings, as blinds combine both aesthetics and functionality.

Roller shutters:

  • The most recommended choice for darkening a room.

  • Made of 37 mm thick aluminum slats filled with polyurethane foam.

  • Excellent insulating design that ensures energy efficiency of the room.

  • They represent additional security and a sense of privacy.

The biggest advantages of external Venetian blinds: light control, privacy, sun protection. Blinds allow complete control over the amount of light entering the room. By adjusting the tilt of the slats, you can achieve the desired level of darkening and light filtration. This means that you can create a pleasant atmosphere while maintaining your privacy. In addition to light control, they also provide excellent protection from the sun's rays. With their help, you can reduce overheating of the room and prevent glare into the room. This contributes to the comfort and energy efficiency of your home. The aesthetic aspect is not negligible. External Venetian blinds are available in various colors, shapes and installation options, which allows you to adapt them to the appearance of your home. This way, you can create an attractive exterior image of the building. External Venetian blinds are an excellent choice, as they stand out with their light control, privacy, sun protection, durability and aesthetic appeal. Compared to other external shades, such as roller blinds and screen shades, external venetian blinds are the right choice for those who want flexibility, functionality and aesthetics in one product.

When operating blinds, you have several different options: manual, electric, automated.

Manual: Blinds can be operated manually with a single-control rod. By rotating the rod in one direction, you can adjust the tilt of the blinds or raise and lower the blinds.

Electric: For easy operation of the blinds, we recommend motorized control, either with a switch, via remote control or with full automation of the system. The blinds are operated with a switch that is connected to the motor in the blind via electronic wiring. Remote control allows each of the five channels to be programmed according to your wishes. This also means that we can operate one or more blinds at the same time. Remote control also allows you to easily adjust different tilts of the blinds' slats, as well as set your favorite position of the blinds using a shortcut on the remote.

Automation: Thanks to the possibility of automating the blinds, the blinds can be adjusted automatically. As with our other blinds, a programmable timer and a mobile app can also help you manage your blinds. A programmable timer is a device that allows you to automate the regulation of your blinds, both in full and for up to 30 events over a period of one week. Not only that, a sundial is also pre-programmed for the Central European Time Zone. The sundial allows the blinds to be raised and lowered at sunrise and sunset. If you are away from home for several days, simply use the “vacation” function, which allows you to lower and raise the blinds at different times and days. This gives outside observers the feeling that someone is home and deters them from any potential break-ins. Thanks to innovative technology, the external blinds can also be controlled via a mobile app, so you always have full control over your home.

Slats tilted at an angle of 15-20 degrees provide the best combination of light control and privacy. Most of the light is blocked, but some light still penetrates the room, creating a darker atmosphere while maintaining some visibility. Slats tilted at an angle of 90 degrees allow for optimal light transmission into the room and an open view of the surroundings. For a more intimate atmosphere, we recommend closing the slats completely. This will achieve the desired privacy and atmosphere in the room.

  • Flush-mounted track installation:

One of the latest trends is the use of blinds with flush-mounted track installation. The so-called INVISA system allows the blinds to be invisible when the blinds are raised. It allows for better integration of the blinds with the architecture of the room, as the blinds' tracks do not stand out and do not take up additional space.

  • Smart technology:

Blinds can now be connected to smart home systems, allowing them to be controlled via smartphones, tablets or voice assistants. This allows you to control the blinds remotely and automate their operation based on time, weather or your settings.

  • Modern blind design:

Blind design is in step with modern design trends. Blind slat shapes such as c, t, s and z play a key role in creating a modern look for a building. These slat shapes have become popular due to their beautiful lines and modern aesthetic appearance.

Use a soft cloth or sponge:

To remove dust, dirt and stains, simply wipe the blind slats with a soft cloth or sponge soaked in a mild solution of neutral detergent and water. This will effectively clean the blind surfaces and maintain their shine and cleanliness, as well as preserve the lifespan of the blind.
