Z 90 slats with rubber seal on the lower edge offer optimal darkening and are among the most modern forms of slats.

External venetian blinds colours

Thanks to the wide range of colours, the exterior system of blinds adapts to your facility. All guide rails on which the slats and masks lower can be harmonised in colour according to your wishes for any colour on the RAL chart.

How are venetian blinds operated?

Experience superior comfort with our blinds, which can be operated manually or with an electric drive such as a switch and remote control.

Manual operation

Venetian blinds are manually operated using a single-command bar. With the rotating movements of the rod, the venetian blinds are rised or lowered.

Electric control with a switch

Electric control of venetian blinds with a switch allows easy light regulation by simply pressing a button.

Electric operation with a remote control

Electric operation of the venetian blinds with a remote control makes it easy and efficient to adjust the light from the comfort of your sofa.

Insect screens, mosquito protection

Insect screens, mosquito protection

Custom-made insect screens provide optimal ventilation of rooms without annoying insects. The aluminium elements of the insect screen are painted according to the RAL chart so as to achieve harmony with the external venetian blinds. The insect screen, made of fibreglass and UV-stabilised, provides aeration and good visibility from the room.

Automation and sensors

Automation and sensors

Brighten up your mornings with automatic venetian blinds. Our venetian blinds operate automatically and are activated based on pre-programmed time. In the morning, they rise and fill the room with natural light, and in the evening, they automatically lower to prevent views from the outside.

The automation of the venetian blinds also allows you to operate the blinds with the mobile app.

Novelty: Solar powered motor

Novelty: Solar powered motor

The motors are powered by a solar panel, which is installed on the external box of the blind or through the mains connection. The integrated solar cell effectively charges the battery, thus ensuring flawless operation of the blinds. The built-in energy management system enables optimal consumption and storage of electricity, which extends the battery life and ensures continuous operation of the blinds even in demanding light conditions.

“Venetian blinds do so much more than just regulate light”

venetian blinds on the window

Lowered external venetian blinds prevent the glass from heating up in the summer and thus direct ingress of heat into the room. In winter, they act as an additional thermal insulator to help you save a few more euros on heating.

By adjusting the angle of the slats, you can limit the view into your room while allowing natural light to penetrate through.

Fully lowered Venetian blinds act as effective protection against burglary. It is very important that most villains are discouraged before they even attempt burglary.

They add aesthetic value to the facility and adapt to different window shapes.

With the help of automation, the Venetian blinds can be automatically activated according to the pre-set schedule or operated remotely using the mobile app, which ensures optimal comfort.

Would you like to know more about external venetian blinds?

We have prepared answers to key questions for you.

When choosing external venetian blinds, it is important to consider several factors.

  • Type of construction: In new constructions, plaster embedded venetian blinds are often used, where the box is hidden under the facade. However, the latest trends also allow the integration of venetian blind guide rails directly under the facade, creating an invisible system of venetian blinds known as Invisa venetian blinds. In the case of plaster embedded installation of venetian blinds, the Modul system of venetian blinds with full guide rails is also available, which is mounted once on the outside of the window. If the facade has already been completed, it is possible to install venetian blinds with visible boxes that harmonise in colour with the appearance of the facility.

  • Slat shapes: External venetian blinds have different slat shapes, such as C, T, Z and S shapes. Each form of slat has its own advantages and aesthetic properties. C and T slats are regulated up to an angle of 180 degrees, while S and Z slats have a seal at the end of the slats, which allows better darkening and sealing. All four forms of slats can be integrated into any system of Venetian blinds.

  • Asymmetric venetian blinds: When choosing external venetian blinds, it is also important to consider asymmetric venetian blinds that are designed specifically for windows of irregular shapes. These venetian blinds provide effective shading and sun protection even on windows of irregular shapes.

By following these steps, it will be easier to choose the right venetian blinds for your windows that will be functional and tailored to your needs:

  • The construction method is an important aspect when choosing venetian blinds. In new constructions, plaster embedded venetian blinds are often used, which are installed under the facade and allow for clean lines and seamless integration. For existing facilities, however, visible system solutions are available, where the venetian blind box is attached to the window frame. A visible mask can be used to aesthetically cover the box, while a plaster embedded mask is used for plaster embedded venetian blinds.

  • Colour adjustments: Consider choosing the colour of the venetian blinds that best matches the style of your room. In addition to the colour, the shape of the slats is also important to match the style of the facility. Slat shapes such as C, T or S, Z have their own specifics and aesthetic impact on the overall appearance (for more information on the slat shapes, please read question 1.)

  • Operation of venetian blinds: When choosing venetian blinds, it is also crucial to consider the operation that suits your needs. There are various options, such as manual operation, electronic operation with a switch or remote control. For those looking for more advanced solutions, there is also an upgrade with the mobile app.

  • Measurements and expert advice: When choosing venetian blinds, it is advisable to seek professional advice and make accurate measurements. A specialist will give you appropriate advice regarding the selection of venetian blinds according to your needs and technical requirements.

Venetian blinds:

  • Composed of aluminium slats that allow control of light regulation.

  • An excellent solution for external shading, as aluminium movable slats allow you to adjust the tilt.

  • They provide insulation and protect the window from excessive heating.

  • Currently, they are the most popular shading choice in new constructions, as Venetian blinds combine both aesthetics and functionality.

Roller shutters:

  • The most recommended choice to darken the room.

  • Made of 37 mm thick aluminium slats filled with polyurethane foam.

  • Excellent insulating design that ensures the energy efficiency of the room.

  • They represent additional security, as well as a sense of privacy.

The biggest advantages of external venetian blinds: light control, privacy, sun protection. Venetian blinds allow full control over the amount of light entering the room. By adjusting the tilt of the slats, you can achieve the desired degree of darkening and filtration of the light. This means you can create a pleasant atmosphere while having your privacy. In addition to controlling the light, they also provide excellent protection from the sun's rays. With their help, you can reduce the overheating of the room and prevent glare in the room. This contributes to the comfort and energy efficiency of your home. The aesthetic aspect is not negligible. External venetian blinds come in a variety of colours, shapes, and installation options, allowing you to customise them to the appearance of your home. This allows you to create an attractive external appearance of the facility. External venetian blinds are a great choice because they control light, privacy, sun protection, durability and aesthetic appeal. Compared to other external blinds, such as roller shutters and screen blinds, external venetian blinds are the right choice for those who want flexibility, functionality and aesthetics in one product.

When operating Venetian blinds, you have several different options: manual, electric, automated.

  • Manual: The venetian blinds can be operated manually with a single control bar. By rotating the bar in one direction, you can adjust the tilt of the slats or rise and lower the venetian blinds.

  • Electrical: For easy operation of venetian blinds, we recommend a motor drive, either with a switch button, via a remote control or with full automation of the system. The venetian blinds are operated by a switch connected to the motor in the blind via electronic wiring. Operation via a remote control allows us to program each of the five channels to our liking. This also means that one or more venetian blinds can be operated at the same time. Operation via remote control also allows you to easily adjust the different tilts of the venetian blind slats, as well as to set your favourite blind position using the shortcut on the remote control.

  • Automation: Venetian blinds can be automated, so they can be automatically regulated. As with our other external blinds, the program timer and mobile app can also help you operate your venetian blinds. The program timer is a device that allows the automation of the regulation of the blinds, in full and for as many as 30 events for a period of one week. Not only that, but the sundial is also pre-programmed for the Central European Time Zone. The sundial allows the venetian blinds to rise or lower at sunrise and sunset. If you are not home for several days, simply use the “vacation” function, which allows you to lower and rise your venetian blinds at different hours and days. In this way, external observers have the feeling that someone is at home and distract them from any intention to break in. Thanks to innovative technology, external Venetian blinds can also be operated with a mobile app, so you always have full control of your home.

Slats tilted at an angle of 15-20 degrees provide the best combination of light control and privacy. Most of the light is blocked, but still some light leaks into the room, creating a more dim atmosphere while maintaining some visibility. Slats, tilted at an angle of 90 degrees, allow optimal light transmittance into the room and an open view of the surroundings. For a more intimate atmosphere, we recommend that the slats close completely. This achieves the desired privacy and atmosphere in the room.

  • Plaster embedded installation of guide rails: One of the latest trends is the use of venetian blinds with plaster embedded installation of guide rails. The so-called INVISA system allows the guide rails to be invisible when the slats are rised. It allows better integration of Venetian blinds with the architecture of the room, as the guide rails do not stand out and do not take up additional space.

  • Smart technology: Venetian blinds can now be connected to smart home systems, allowing operation via smartphones, tablets or voice assistants. In this way, you can control the venetian blinds remotely and automate their operation depending on the time, weather or your settings.

  • Contemporary Venetian blind design: Venetian blind design is in step with modern design trends. Slat shapes of venetian blinds, such as c, t, s and z, play a key role in creating a modern appearance of the facility. These slat shapes have become popular due to their beautiful lines and modern aesthetic appearance.

Use a soft cloth or sponge: To remove dust, dirt and stains, simply wipe the slats of the venetian blinds with a soft cloth or sponge soaked in a mild solution of neutral detergent and water. This will effectively clean the surfaces of the venetian blinds, maintain their shine and cleanliness, and preserve the life service of the Venetian blind.
