Pleated blinds can be operated on both sides. This means that the fabric can be pulled from bottom to top and vice versa, from top to bottom. Manual operation of these blinds is also suitable for hard-to-reach, skylights and large windows, with the difference that in the case of large windows, they can be operated using a telescopic pole. Most of the dirt will be wiped off with a damp, soft cloth without using a detergent. Pleated blinds are also suitable for vacuuming with a soft brush. If pleated blinds are very dirty, you can wash them by hand. For washing, use a mild detergent designed for polyester fabric. Liquid soap will also work well. It is most convenient to prepare the water with detergent in the bath and soak the entire pleated blind in it for a few minutes. This will quickly get rid of the biggest dirt. The next step is to gently soak in water and wash by hand. Do not crush or rub the pleated blinds with a brush, as this will destroy the fabric. After rinsing with cold water and squeezing excess water, install a pleated blind on the window. Dry the pleated blinds so that they are folded several times during drying. The fabric will continue to form wrinkles without losing its properties.
